Next Tuesday I'll leave Boston for a one-month gig in Seattle. My freelance life allows me to take that time on the left coast for a gig with the Earshot Jazz Festival. I've rallied volunteers by email in recent weeks. When I arrive I'll begin day-to-day production: airport runs, gear swaps, coordinating volunteers.
